The Artist Workshop Inc. was established in September 2007 and employs 17 well trained personnel. The Artist Workshop 
is owned by Ms Deena Bixby and operates as a wholesale framing establishment meeting the needs of the framers of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Art Emporium Gallery and Frame Shop located at 30 Ropewalk Lane in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, has promoted the purchase and sale of Newfoundland and Labrador Art since its inception and now under the ownership of Ms Deena Bixby of The Artist Workshop Inc., is proud to continue to promote some of the this provinces most talented artists

Jim Hansel
On the 15th of May 2008, The Artist Workshop Inc. became the sole Canadian distributor of the Jim Hansel Collection of wild life and out door art. Jim has produced nearly 100 limited editions and his reputation for detail and his distinctive, colorful landscapes have proven very popular with art collectors across Canada and the United States. Jim has been commissioned to produce several paintings for Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever and The Minnesota Duck Hunters Association.
